30 years ago as a mountain biker many of my friends had buffalo jackets, usually worn next to the skin, they were fantastic.
Recently I wanted to get a buffalo style jacket again for hiking, I looked around and could not find a local supplier, but while I was looking I came across the Halo jacket from Highlander, after reading the reviews especially the general consensus that you need to go up a size then I ordered one and I have to say its brilliant
It fits well, I went for a size bigger than I normally have for jackets, the material is good quality, the layout of pockets is great with a kangaroo pocket and hand pockets, the zips work fine, the ventilation options are smart
it's February and yet it is warm enough to be out with just a T-shirt underneath. It has a very cozy feel
I believe it will be rain resistant although if it rains I will probably put a waterproof on top.
All in all I would recommend this jacket
